As part of a school project using Flash, I had to create an interactive quiz. I took the opportunity to create one for our blog. So here it is, enjoy!

Cool, I had to guess at almost every question but still came out a “seasoned eater”

Sorry, there was a problem with how I embedded the swf file at first & Internet Explorer. I think it’s working now.

  3. Simone

Very nice. Although I was an “aspiring gourmand”…Well done.
    Thanks.

i said 3 independently owned bakeries in Cleveland Heights — i was thinking On the Rise, Stone Oven and is the third one Zoss?

    anyways, great quiz!

    The third one is Zoss.

And if anyone is disappointed with their score, you can congratulate yourself on focusing more on cooking at home than eating out. We’re working on that ourselves!

Thanks, everyone, for trying out the quiz!

I feel really mixed about my success at this–BUT great game.

As a lifetime (17 out of a possible 31 years) service industry employee working in only independently owned restaurants i love the idea, but c’mon, what’s up with all of the trader joe’s questions?!? they aren’t a restaurant and as you astutely point out, owned by a huge chain. There are so many great places and great stories about cleveland restaurants, i look forward to some of those nuggets in the next quiz.

Q: Who was the original chef of Lopez y Gonzalez?
A: Nationally renowned southwestern style chef & cookbook author Rick Bayless.
