The Bottle

Bill Samuels came up with the Maker’s Mark recipe (oddly enough, through experimenting with grains in baked bread) but Marjorie (“Marge”) Samuels, his wife, came up with the bottle design. She modeled the bottle after those used for Brandy, and the name came from the mark at the bottom of fine pewter.
